Zohe is a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) student at Yorkville University and a practicum student therapist at Crescent Moon Counselling & Wellness. She strives to offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel safe, supported, and truly heard.
In taking an integrative, humanistic approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma informed care, Zohre can meet a variety of client needs effectively.
Zohre is particularly interested in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and enjoy supporting clients in developing self awareness, emotional regulation, and self compassion. She believes that therapy is most effective when it is tailored to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Prior to entering the counselling field, Zohre worked extensively with children and families as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. This experience continues to inform her work through a strong relational, developmental, and attachment based lens.
Zohre is fluent in English and Turkish and values culturally responsive, inclusive, and anti-oppressive practice. She is passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, relational challenges, and emotional overwhelm.
Zohre is supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist and am committed to ethical practice, ongoing learning, and reflective growth as a developing clinician.
Zohre offers sessions at a reduced sliding scale rate, with an option for pro bono as needed.
